OneTee is early. Right now it is a small operation pointed at one problem: every public golf course in the country runs its tee sheet on a different platform, and none of them talk to each other. We are fixing that state by state.
There are no open roles today, and we would rather say that plainly than post a job we cannot fill. But we have a good idea of what the first hires will look like — and if one of them sounds like you, we would rather hear from you now than the week we start looking.
The honest version: no open roles, no timeline we would bet money on, and no offer waiting at the end of this page. What we can promise is a short list, a real reply, and a note when something opens.
What you would be working on
OneTee gathers every bookable tee time from public golf courses onto a single searchable page — filtered by date, distance, time of day, price, holes, and group size — and then sends the golfer straight to the course to book. We never add fees or markup, and we never sit between a player and the tee sheet. Colorado and Arizona are live. The rest of the country is the work.
Which means most of the interesting problems here are unglamorous ones. Booking platforms change their markup without telling anyone. The same course goes by three different names across three sources. Whether a town has coordinates on file decides whether a course shows up in someone's search at all. Getting those details right is not a detail — it is the product.
Where we expect to start
Data and integrations
Pulling tee sheets from a dozen unrelated booking platforms and keeping them accurate all day long. Comfortable with scrapers, flaky APIs, rate limits, and the kind of parsing that breaks quietly at 6am on a Saturday.
Front end and product
Making a search that feels obvious on the first try. Filters, maps, mobile, speed. Strong opinions about what to leave out.
Course partnerships
Talking to the people who actually run public courses. Getting them listed, keeping their information correct, and making the case that free traffic beats another booking fee.
